On Friday, March 25th, musician Jay Filson visited the University of Evansville to perform a free concert, which took place from 12:00-1:00 at Rademacher’s Café.

Filson, a Michigan native, moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his lifelong dream of being a full-time musician in 2017. He enjoys writing pop music about his life, as well as performing softer versions of his favorite songs. Highlights of his performance on Friday included his own songs “6’3” and “I Hate This Phone”, as well as acoustic covers of “The Middle” by Jimmy Eat World and “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran.
